20 years’ professional experience in major transport and infrastructure schemes, specialising in strategic and business planning, structuring and commercial management of major restructuring efforts and commercial contracts.

Corporate restructuring and institutional development experience covers a number of countries, and includes Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Azerbaijan, UK, Netherlands, Denmark, Egypt, UAE, Hungary and Romania. In Serbia, I led multinational and multidisciplinary teams on the World Bank and EBRD funded assignments in the infrastructure sector. I also supported EBRD investments in Azerbaijan, Montenegro and am in the process of supporting EBRD in Croatia.

Advised government authorities, transport agencies, operators, infrastructure providers, bidding consortia and financial institutions on structuring, procurement and delivery of infrastructure and transport investment projects and programmes.  For the developers, I have screened, developed and executed project opportunities from inception to completion.

“Hands-on” experience covers (1) origination, development, execution and improvement of infrastructure schemes and (2) development and implementation of asset management strategies and performance improvement initiatives for the private and public sector clients in different jurisdictions, including Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, UK, the Netherlands, Denmark, Egypt and UAE.

Detailed knowledge of the infrastructure needs, institutional development requirements and existing institutional frameworks and corporate restructuring initiatives across the whole of Southeast Europe (SEE) region.

Deep understanding of the investment requirements and institutional mandates of different IFI (EBRD, World Bank, EIB, IFC, Islamic Development Bank) operating in the SEE region.
